GrassLands goes brief again this week - just been too dang busy to really sit down & compose our thoughts! We've got a ton going on - which is a good thing, of course, but it doesn't take away from the fact that there are simply too few hours in the day. When you work a full-time 8-5 job, you're immediately limited in your ability to make significant things happen in a short time frame. Even so, we're killin' it, in my humble opinion :D

How so, I can hear you ask...?

We're brewing at seemingly a ridiculous pace with some really, really innovative things. Our soon-to-be assistant brewer (also soon to be head-brewer) and I have been putting our brains together on the experimental side of GrassLands' future output. Test batches here & there that emphasize innovation & creativity. That's something we can absolutely promise out of GrassLands' taproom offerings. Don't you feel like you deserve that? Seriously - we're really excited about the potential for a few things to, in someone special's words: "Revolutionize" an aspect of the brewing industry. We'll keep that hush-hush for now, but just know we're working on somethin' special.

We're close to identifying a location in Tallahassee. Man, that's awesome to say. Fingers crossed and knockin' on wood, but we're really jazzed about the potential for GrassLands in this location. Can't say much more about it now as the ink has yet to hit the paper, but things are definitely in motion!

We're preparing for multiple events this fall & winter. What events? Let's start with Brewfest Tallahassee - you know about that one. We'll be participating with a number of awesome breweries in-planning (Mad Mullet & Canopy Roads) as well as some extremely talented homebreweries in the VIP section as per usual. Tickets just went on sale today, in fact! Be there or be square come November 9th! We'll also be serving our suds on several occasions at Madison Social - a really cool, new venue in the CollegeTown area of Tallahassee. Keep your eyes peeled there.

Fermentation Lounge Beerman Tyler doing his thang

Last but definitely not least, we're brewing our first commercial collaboration next weekend! I'll definitely be flooding our GrassHoppers' inboxes with information about this coming soon, but the ever-cool Fermentation Lounge and head brewer Robert C. have extended their hand in allowing our beer and GrassLands to be highlighted in November! #CantWait!

Really, we're just scratching the surface. Fall/Winter 2013 will be one of the busiest times in GrassLands' (pre)existence...and that's an awesome thing! We can't wait to break these news items to you as they happen, very often, on a daily basis!

With that, we'll leave you to it for now. Enjoy your weekend, my dear readers, because you most definitely deserve it! Stay dry too!
